| Sunday, Sunday... |
Yesterday I was productive again with getting another load of laundry finished, vacuuming my room, did a little bit of grocery shopping, worked out, went to Old Navy and Barnes & Noble, got a lot of reading in. I mean, come on, awesome, right? I ended up getting a few things from Old Navy...but all three things ended up being about $30! [Trust me, I saved a lot of money. They were on sale!] I tried on this really cute plaid shirt, but the top was kind of weird and didn't look right. Oh well, saved myself $15 from not getting that!
Start rant/Today I had to pick up my roommates from the airport after their trip to Florida. Now...I wouldn't have minded as much, but...I wasn't informed until about 3-4 hours before they were to land...and then when I got there, I waited for almost 30 minutes and the stinky traffic police lady made me loop around the terminal a bajillion times. [Yes, I'm exaggerating...] But this made me get really anxious. And I don't like being anxious. And I like when things are planned in advance. I would've been much more okay about the whole situation had they asked me Thursday night before they left for Florida. /End rant.

I also get to hang out with the Mister tomorrow. He has to work, so it won't be until the evening, but it'll be nice to get to spend a little time with him before I have to endure a long month of February with the little crazies...I mean, kids.
Honestly, these long weekends have been so nice and I've been getting a little too comfortable with them. It'll be hard to go back in to the 5-day work weeks. I got lucky with those, I really did...But alas, it is time to kick up my energy and see how many questions I can get asked in a 10 minute period, hah. Seriously, kids ask so many flippin' questions.
I hope everyone had an incredible Monday and can enjoy the rest of their week with no mishaps! And hopefully I won't be in such a moody mood [moody mood...heh heh...] either! Seriously, smile people, it's almost February!!!

I'm a planner too! I get really bad anxiety when something pops up like that.
ReplyDeleteOh I cannot even handle the airport!! My anxiety goes through the roof. I get all twitchy and can't even think straight. It's awful. Darn those traffic police! I tried the level one of the 30 day shred and made it though like, 15 minutes before I was almost dying. Haha, the only up side to it was watching both of my kids attempt jumping jacks with me.
ReplyDeleteHow do you feel after the 30 day shred? Was it worth it?
ReplyDeleteWell, I ended up taking two months to actually get through it, haha. But I really liked it! I mean, yeah, it obviously gets repetitive, but I noticed that I had a lot better upper body strength once I finished and my legs were much more in shape! Level two was a pain in my butt, but really liked level 3!
DeleteOh my gosh! You're so lucky with the long weekends!! I need one! Like..really bad.. Haha!

Haha, I was so excited when my boyfriend and I found that shirt! We were exchanging a pair of gloves that didn't work out and found that. Yay for Virginians! :) I'd love to visit Colorado though, someday! I hear it's beautiful.
